Senior week continues...Here are a few images from a session yesterday with a Southbury, CT Pomperaug High School Senior. Don't you love how fresh and bright she looks? She brought the flowers herself, along with a number of different outfits and we went through them together deciding which outfit would work best with each background. That really is something we encourage all seniors to do, bring a variety and we can narrow the choices down at the start of your session. And always feel free to bring along those things you love, your varsity jacket, golf clubs, sports uniform, awards, sunglasses, Uggs...your senior pictures should be all about you!

Senior week continues...Here is an image from a session this morning with a Southbury, CT Pomperaug High School Senior. Senior portraits photographed outdoors are some of our very favorite, and it doesn't have to be time consuming or complicated...these senior pictures were taken right here on the grounds of our studio. It is a beautiful location for pictures this time of year or in a few weeks when the leaves start to change as well!

This is the favorite picture of the week, it is from a Connecticut Family Portrait Session that took place on location at the family's home. This image just seems to capture sweetness and youth, she seems totally unaware that the camera is even there. The unusual perspective and the very narrow depth of field add interest and a an sense of timelessness to the image. Enjoy!

At Heartprint Photography we are so excited to be photographing so many great Connecticut High School Seniors this year! We are also really enjoying that so many are checking out some of the unique products exclusive in our area at Heartprint Photography. One of these products is the High School Senior 411 Card. 411, because in has the vital contact information. High School Seniors love them because their classmates will be going off to colleges and universities all over the country, these cards contain the senior's contact information; Facebook address, cell phone number, email address, it really is their version of a calling or business card. We love them, and from their reaction, seniors do as well!

We are so excited to show these adorable newborn portraits, this little guy is absolutly adorable! He was very interested in everything that was going on around him, he really fought falling asleep! I just love his little pursed lips and oh-so-cute 'cupie doll' curl of hair! This little guy is a third child, with two very active big sisters, he is one lucky little fella. Parents often ask what the best age is for newborn portraits, and the answer is, the earlier the better! The newer they are, the more curled up and 'newborn' they look, that stage really only lasts for a few sweet weeks. If you are expecting and don't want to miss out on capturing that moment in their lives, call early, even while you are still expecting.
