Connecticut Wedding Photographer, Colonial Tavern, Oxford, Southbury, Shelton, Monroe, Newtown, Woodbury, CT

This portrait of a flower girl is from a local Connecticut Wedding that we photographed at the Colonial Tavern in Oxford (Southbury) Connecticut, just one of many beautiful local wedding venues in the Southbury, Oxford, Monroe, and Woodbury Connecticut area. The Colonial Tavern is just minutes from Southford Falls, where you will find a covered bridge, ponds, falls, hiking trails and picnic areas. It is a very popular spot for wedding pictures, High School Senior, or family portraits. In the last year we have shot all, plus engagement sessions at Southford Falls. Oxford is also home to The Oxford House , and is not far from The Crown Plaza , Southbury, the luxury accommodations at The Heritage Hotel, Southbury, or the sophisticated The Waterview, in Monroe. We would love to show you sample wedding images from some of Connecticut's finest wedding venues, schedule an appointment to view samples at your leisure.

Connecticut Pomperaug High School Senior Photographer Pictures Photos Southbury, Newtown, Shelton, Watertown, Litchfield, woodbury, Bethel, Brookfield

This has been a great year for High School Seniors at Heartprint Photography! We have been photographing High School Seniors from all around the area, Pomperaug High School, Newtown, Oxford, Nonnewaug, Woodland, Holy Cross, Shelton, Monroe, Brookfield, New Fairfield and others. One thing we have heard over and over again from parents is that their senior had fun! We take that as such a compliment! Having your senior pictures done is supposed to be one of your rights of passage, it seems that some of the big chains that some schools use have forgotten that. We LOVE for our seniors to bring along a friend, some great music, their car, sports equipment, musical instruments, and fun ideas! Please bring your Ipod or Iphone with your favorite music to play on our Idock, or if you forget your music we have the current favorites that we will play on the studio Itouch. Bring some snacks and Pepsi if you like, make it fun. After all, you've earned it an isn't that what your senior year is all about?

Pomperaug High School Senior Photography, Connecticut, CT Photographer, Southbury, Middlebury

Senior week continues...Here is an image from a session this morning with a Southbury, CT Pomperaug High School Senior. Senior portraits photographed outdoors are some of our very favorite, and it doesn't have to be time consuming or complicated...these senior pictures were taken right here on the grounds of our studio. It is a beautiful location for pictures this time of year or in a few weeks when the leaves start to change as well!

This is the favorite picture of the week, it is from a Connecticut Family Portrait Session that took place on location at the family's home. This image just seems to capture sweetness and youth, she seems totally unaware that the camera is even there. The unusual perspective and the very narrow depth of field add interest and a an sense of timelessness to the image. Enjoy!
