Here is a Connecticut newborn image from last week, she just seems so peaceful, and petite, and it seems amazing that she fits so snugly in her mother's two hands. The newborn period of their life is so fleeting, literally just weeks. Having an image like this to look back on in another 11 months from now when they are seriously running across the room, or five years from now when they get on the bus for their first day of kindergarten really is priceless. That is why we encourage every parent to capture those moments today, they are only this little once.

Here is another Connecticut newborn portrait, this time a little boy! We have been in the middle of a baby boom here at Heartprint Photography, but we have had so many more little girls than boys. This little guy was so cooperative and easy. We just love this baby portrait, it is so simple, clean, and modern. It could be done large to hang over a changing table or even in the bathroom, or a portrait like this would be perfect for baby announcements!
