At Heartprint Photography we love presenting our clients with artistic versions of their wedding images, after all, our roots, and our passion for photography, grew from our background in art! Ahhhh, summer! This session was done with the intention of creating a summer series of images for a trifold folio. At Heartprint Photography Studios we offer folios in 42 different finishes and colors as either trifolds or bifolds and sized from 5" x 5" up to 12" x 12"! High School Seniors LOVE them, especially as metallic prints in a school colors folio. They are great as pearl finish prints to match the wedding colors for brides and grooms, or make great grandparent gifts! We have a great selection of finished folio samples right at the studio for clients to choose from, and are hand made just for us!

A 20" X 20" Baby-Bits Collage Storyboard, our very favorite way to display newborn baby photography! It is such a great way to capture and display their tiny hands and feet, their pouty little lips and chubby cheeks! This particular style, white on white with clean fresh lines is definitely a favorite. If you are expecting and would like to capture those first few weeks, call early, even during the last couple months of your pregnancy to set up your own Baby-Bits session. They are that little for such a short time! At Heartprint Photography we are so excited to be photographing so many great Connecticut High School Seniors this year! We are also really enjoying that so many are checking out some of the unique products exclusive in our area at Heartprint Photography. One of these products is the High School Senior 411 Card. 411, because in has the vital contact information. High School Seniors love them because their classmates will be going off to colleges and universities all over the country, these cards contain the senior's contact information; Facebook address, cell phone number, email address, it really is their version of a calling or business card. We love them, and from their reaction, seniors do as well!

It's that time of year, only a few short weeks here in Connecticut till school is back in session, and the busiest time at our studio for high school seniors! In the next few weeks we will be posting a number of images from this year's senior sessions, but I really wanted to post a few images of these two sisters. Technically, one is a senior and one a freshman, but notice the cool clothing. We tend to suggest neutrals, not a lot of pattern for clothing choices, but boy, did these two girls prove us wrong! They went with bright, bold, and very hip...and they look fantastic! The bright fun colors really match their personalities. So take note seniors, when choosing clothing for you senior session, wear what you love!

Here is a sneak peek at Jenna and Joe's wedding images from the wedding we photographed this last weekend at the Seamen's Inne at Mystic Seaport, Mystic Connecticut. It was perfect weather for an outdoor wedding, this one took place on the lawn overlooking the Mystic River. Tall ships and New England charm created the perfect waterfront setting for their special day.

The wedding party got ready right at the Seamen's Inne, snacking and sipping champagne with strawberries.

The groom and his party had the coolest accessories, and the right attitude to pull it all off!

And what could be more quintessential New England than a lighthouse?

The food was fabulous, the music great, the room beautiful...everyone had so much fun, dancing very late into the night. We were so glad to spend this special day with all of you, our heartfelt congratulations to you all!

We are so excited to show these adorable newborn portraits, this little guy is absolutly adorable! He was very interested in everything that was going on around him, he really fought falling asleep! I just love his little pursed lips and oh-so-cute 'cupie doll' curl of hair! This little guy is a third child, with two very active big sisters, he is one lucky little fella. Parents often ask what the best age is for newborn portraits, and the answer is, the earlier the better! The newer they are, the more curled up and 'newborn' they look, that stage really only lasts for a few sweet weeks. If you are expecting and don't want to miss out on capturing that moment in their lives, call early, even while you are still expecting. We are more than happy to make room in our schedule for your newest family member!

We spent the morning recently photographing a really lovely family at their home in beautiful Greenwich, Connecticut. We loved meeting their whole extended family! This image is one of my very favorite pictures from the day. Believe it or not, this is a little one and her grandmother! I love the expression on both of their faces. This lovely family was just so relaxed and so easygoing, it was a joy to both meet and photograph them all!
